OkayJourney is a Nepalese online bus ticketing platform that provides ticket booking facilities, a website, and an Android application. It is headquartered in Kathmandu and works as a hub of making a network of 500 bus operators across the different cities of Nepal like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lumbini, Butwal, Dharan, and Bhimdatta. Rajesh Das started this project at the National Innovation Center, After the competition of the project OkayJourney company was formed and started for the public. Okayjourney is the first company that emerged out of NIC to serve the public for bus ticketing. It claims to have registered 90 thousand trips with a customer base of 60 thousand.

OkayJourney was founded in 2019 by Rajesh Das, an electronics and communications engineer from the IOE Thapathali campus, who also worked together at various organizations before founding the company. With an initial investment of NRS 30,000 (equivalent to US$300 in 2019), the founder began operations in 2019 by tying up with various travel agents for seat reservations through the OkayJourney portal. In early 2019, Rajesh Das learned the Java and Android Programming languages by himself, made the website and app, and launched them. Later in 2019, COVID came and hit the startup, but in time, the founder helped a lot of passengers who were traveling with different vehicles like trucks and vegetable cars. In 2020 the startup was funded by Mahabir Pun and the National Innovation Center. In 2021, the founder was selected as one of the top 100 people to watch in Nepal Business 360 magazine, and the startup was featured for one-stop solutions for connecting passengers to buses all over Nepal through Business 360. The founder was featured in English online Khabar for making an OkayTube device for the buses. With that device, passengers could watch movies and videos without the internet while traveling on buses. Also, the device could track buses, and secure the buses with CCTV. For this invention, Techpana, Dekhapadhi, Smart TV, and power media network features him in news and magazines.
